Investigations
Here you will find the investigations PPR has conducted. Our investigations technique follows that of science, after all, we are Pittsburgh Paranormal RESEARCH. With that said, that is exactly how we begin, we do our research on the history of a place, interview people, etc. Once we have the history of the location, we are then able to bring along for the official investigation, items from that era that aide in the possibility of getting some form of response from an entity. All of our investigations are handled with the utmost care for the location for which we are investigating. Also, while we want to post all investigations for which we take part, if a client asks that we do not publish it, we will strictly abide by our code of conduct. If you should have questions regarding an investigation, please don't hesitate to contact us. If we do list a private investigation, please do not waste our time asking us for the location therein. Thank you in advance for your understanding in this manor.
Also, off to the right, you will see various links that if you want to bypass each investigation and just care to browse our photos, vidoes, evps, etc., you may do so as well as they are all accesible from the links to the right.

This is the gravesite of an unknown number of 1918 influenza victims. These influenza victims were recent immigrants to West Winfield working in the various manufacturing and mining industries that were there at that time. They succumbed to the flu and died without church, organization or family affiliations that would ensure a proper burial. The county, state and none of the federal agencies would bury these victims. They were truly lost souls. The West Winfield companies united together sending crews of men with shovels to dig mass graves for the bodies.
It was imperative that the bodies be buried and decomposed quickly so that the virus could die off with them. The son of... Read More
